I purchased this metro 3 weeks ago with intent to fix up and drive to work. My plans have changed and am now re-selling it. Bad: The car starts and idles but will not rev when you step on the gas. The car does rev if you flutter the gas. If you put it in gear it will die unless you flutter the gas then it will drive. (I drove it 1block this way to see if the tranny shifted, it does). I have not had much time to look into it but have replaced the fuel filter and that made no difference. There is rust on the car per the pics, but the suspension points in the front appear to be ok. The car does run well enough to put on a trailer, but not enough to drive anywhere!!!I have 2 engines and will help loading them if you come alone and need help. The car has A/C but the belt is not there so I assume it does not work but all parts are there. There is a crack in the windshield, and will need wipers. Good: The inside is in good shape for the year the carpet is kind of dirty but the seats are pretty good. The tires are in good shape. The transmission appears to work I drove the car down the block and it shifted fine. All gauges appear to be working the lights blinkers and other electronics all seam fine as well. Extras: If you would like I have 2 engines they will go with the car at time of getting the car, if you do not want them you do not have to take them. One came with the car and the other has 250k on it ran when I took it out of another metro last fall PLEASE READ THE AD THIS CAR STARTS RUNS BUT NOT IN ANYWAY IS DRIVABLE!!!
