This is a 1971 Dodge Super Bee. This is NOT a clone. The vin# calls for a 383 Magnum. Somewhere in it's life someone installed a 440 Magnum. I have owned the car since 2006. Exterior The exterior paint , decals and vinyl roof are in very very good condition and was completed by the previous owner. The chrome bumpers are original and have not been restored. Engine The 440 has an Edelbrock perfomance series carb and manifold. This car runs very well. There is a new fuel sending unit and ignition. All guages work. This has the 727 Slapstick tranny which was completely rebuilt in 2006. Brakes and tires are in good shape. Interior The interior has been restored with new carpet, and Legendary front and back seat upholstry. There is a crack in the dash just on the right lower side of the steering column visible in the picture. I have both the original AM radio ( does not work) and installed an NOS AM/FM, however it is not hooked up yet. Dodge delievered less than 5000 total SUPERBEES in 1971. 1971 was the only year the SUPERBEE was built on a Charger chassis, and the last year the SUPERBEE was built until 2007.
