You are bidding on my 1971 Nova SS. It is a genuine factory SS with front disc brakes, sway bar and all of the Super Sport equipment. The engine is a very strong running 350 cu. in. 4 bbl. with a performance cam, aluminum high rise intake, headers, turbo mufflers etc. The car currently has a turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit and will easily bark the tires when shifting gears if you so desire. This vehicle was originally a 4 speed car from the factory and the 4 speed pedal and linkage are in the car making a conversion back to a manual transmission an easy one. The body of the car is very solid and has all of its original body panels. It was originally undercoated and is well preserved. The paint is very good and has only a few minor imperfections. Overall I would give the paint an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. The chrome is very nice and the bumpers are perfect. The interior is also very nice with no rips or tears. This is a beautiful car that gets plenty of attention where ever it goes. The new owner will not be dissapointed. Please ask all questions before bidding and I will try to answer them asap. It is in like new condition with absolutly no rips or tears. Also there is no bubbling or rust anywhere under the top or around the moldings. On May-13-10 at 18:40:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I have also had a few questions about the rear end. The car has a 12 bolt posi unit with multi leaf springs. I do not know what the exact gear ratio is but they feel like they are in the 373 to 411 range. I also forgot to mention the car has a 2500 stall Holeshot converter. Note: The car was last registered in Upper New York state and comes with a fully transferable signed registration. New York is a non-title state and that is all that is required to register the car.
