Vehicle Detail
1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible. 400 v8 with a 400 turbo hydramatic transmission. The odometer reads 8,740 miles. Older restoration showing ware. New top, new brakes and hoses. new tires 14", new shocks and coil springs and bushings. New 2 1/4" aluminised exhaust with H pipe and glass-packs . old restoration showing rust on both right and left quarters above body skirts, quarters do have puddy in them from old restoration. the rest of the body is in good shape floor pans and trunk clean.. There is a primer spot on hood from previous repair, not sure way dent or something I guess, but the underside of hood is in great shape no rust or dents.. the interior is original with some rips in the driver seat. the rest of the interior is fine just faded with age, the dash has two very small hair line cracks in front of the wheel that are almost impossible to see. The top is new and black in color. Which is the correct color for the car. There were on a little over 5400 of these cars ever made and only in 1967. The car runs great and would not be afraid to drive anywhere. I have given the car a fresh tune-up so it is ready for summer cruising (plugs, wires, hoses, oil change, fuel filters, belts, thermostat). The car does have a/c but it needs two new hoses and charged, but the compressor is free. This car was stock 350hp with a/c. It has a edelbroke 750 4 barrel carb. but I have original Carter 4 barrel as well . It has power top and power antenna both work fine. It has factory am/fm stereo and factory 8 track, but 8 track does not seem to work. This car is in #'s matching and original. All window go up and down just fine all glass good. The top weather stripping is good , but lower window door weather stripping could be replaced. I purchased car a little over a year ago with intention of repainting and driving on weekend or nice days to car shows with my other show car. I just don't have time to mess with and I would like the shop space back. This car lists for ($7,744.00 low retail), ($14,805.00 average retail), all the way up to show room quality ($26,775.00 high retail). According to "NADA" Classic Car buyers guide and Hagerty Insurance, one of the top Classic and Antique car insurance companies in the US, and Who I have the car insured through. This car is diffidently not considered show room quality or High retail. But it is a long way from being considered low retail either. There is a lot of room for money to be maid on this car by the right person, who is willing to make a small investment. All I am after is to get the money I have in the car back, and sell someone a great Classic Ride in the process. You must come see this car to believe it. If you wish to come see car before you bid, contact me 573-682-4665. I require a non-refundable $500.00 deposit, with in 24 hours after the end of auction, by winning bidder.I will require the remainder of the full payment in 7 days. Either by bank check or personal check both of which we will have to wait to clear bank before p/u. Or pay by cash which let you p/u car when ever. This car is being "sold as is". So you need to be sure before you buy. It is all so for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. The car is p/u locally or I can deliver for a fee in the lower 48. I also require that all bidders have a feedback rating of 96% or better and at least 10 sales or purchases in their history.
