THIS IS A NON-RUNNING/DRIVING VEHICLE, BUYER PICKUP BY TRAILER OR TOW TRUCK. I bought this car with 119k miles in 2/04 off ebay in L.I. , NY from a dealer who had bought it from a charity auction and brought it south to Virginia. I am the second owner, not counting the dealer. Photocopies of title history from new. Current clear VA title in my name. See photo of original window sticker for equipment/option list. See photos for good points, bad points as follows. (1) Ran and drove fine until fuel pump quit last summer. Pounding on the bottom of the gas tank with a rubber mallet will get it to run but not for very many minutes. It may just be dirt in the tank but I'd recommend replacing the pump. (2) No brakes. Worked fine until last weekend when pulling it into the shop the main front to rear steel line along the left chassis rail split due to corrosion. I assume the front circuit still has fluid pressure. (3) Major engine oil leak at what appears to be the front crankshaft pulley seal. That is where the "wash" shows on the timing chain cover (see photo). Leaks badly enough to coat the underside of the car and onto the rear window when driven. Only driven locally so no "miles per quart" figure. (4) A/C blows warm, used to blow cold. No diagnosis. (5) Rear wiper and power release for rear window not working. No diagnosis. (6) Automatic parking brake release not working. No diagnosis. (7) Power steering pump makes noise in cold weather, until fluid warms up. (8) Body: Under car body pan surface rust as shown in photos. Bubbled spot shown on RR lower quarter does not yield to firm thumb pressure. Old bondoed repairs on RF fender tip and LR door dogleg (photos) not very noticeable. Small chip in windshield (photo) has not moved. Just had interior professionally cleaned, non smoker car. Optima battery. Matching set of Michelins 30k ago, still fine. (photo). All detached trim pieces have been saved and are included (photo). I will respond to all questions. Please pickup car by 5/30/10. I will not refund deposit if buyer fails to pickup by then. On May-06-10 at 19:30:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Additions/corrections as of 5/5/10: The owners manual package, sales brochure, two sets of keys and one fob is included in the selling price. The "rear storage security cover" trim shade is not included or available. A new 3 volume factory shop manual set will be available for sale to the buyer for an additional $75. above the car's selling price. Local bidders may contact me for vehicle inspection.
