This is a nice 1998 Jaguar XK8 Coupe with no reserve. This was a family car but unfortunately the family has grown and it is now not practical. The 4.0L eight cylinder engine purrs along with no miss, smoke or any mechanical issues. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation. The drive train runs out 100%. It has had regular service as necessary. The timing chain was replaced in 2009. A real cruising machine. The exterior is a dark green which is clean but it does have a few minor dings that one might find on a twelve year old car. There are some sun cracks on the trunk lid (see pix). After all, it was a family vehicle. The glass is crack and chip free. The lights and lenses are clear and bright. The brakes, steering and suspension are good with no problems. The tires have tread but will have to be replaced soon. No rust. The interior is tan leather and carpet. The seats have no holes, rips or stains however the driver seat has the typical wear spot on the side (see pix). The other seats are in good condition. The back seats were hardly used. The carpet is clean. Floor mats were used. All the power features such as windows, locks. etc. work as designed. No problem with the sound system. There is a CD changer in the trunk (see pix). No sun cracks on the dash. The consol is good except the cup holder is broken. The car must be started in neutral, not sure what that is all about. This vehicle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We charge a $200 document fee to cover document preparation, clerical, airport transportation and other auction related expenses. We can offer a 60 day temporary tag for $50 with proof of insurance. The Jaguar XK8 is offered as a past family vehicle. It is mechanically sound and has the service records to show but it is not a show room piece. We have tried to describe with accuracy. This is a no reserve auction.
