1955 Oldsmobile Custom Project Car!!! Up for sale is my 1955 Olds Custom 4 door. This car has most of the original parts, but the body has been modified extensively with a slight chop, handles shaved and most of the typical hot rod tricks. I bought the car a couple of years ago exactly as you see it, expecting to make a project out of it for my son and I, and just haven't had the time. I don't know a ton about Oldsmobiles, but the pictures tell most of the story. This car is far from show quality, but it runs and drives and is a great start to a project. It's got the original Olds Rocket (I believe 283) motor in it. I pulled it out of storage on Monday, cleaned the points, put some gas in it and it fired right up!!!! As you can see from the pictures, it has a new headliner in the box and the trunk is full of tons of the original trim and assorted pieces. I never have even had a chance to touch any of the pieces and parts. I literally brought it home, put it in my barn and there is sat, next to all my other "projects". Time to clean house. It does have a bunch of new brake lines and such. It's got all new ignition parts (i did that this week). The tires held air the whole time it was stored (no kidding). As you see them in the picture, is how I rolled it out of the barn! The fuel tank does appear to have a small leak in the bottom of it (most of the fuel leaked out during storage). I think I've covered all of the basics on it. This will make someone a VERY NICE start to a fun project. The frame seems nice and sold. The body doesn't look like it needs a lot of work. Mostly just some mechanics and the interior need the most attention. Terms of sale: $250 Deposit via Paypal and balance due at time of delivery via CASH ONLY!
