Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my idea of what a 70 Firebird Formula GT would have looked like if they would have offered one. This bird started off life as a pretty much stock Firebird. It has power steering, and power disc brakes, and a 160 mile an hour speedo.Other than that it came with a 350 motor, and a automatic transmission.I removed the original 350,and put in a 350 Chevy motor, and a Chevy turbo 350 tranny. It has a 10 bolt posi rear end with 388 gears. All the running gear has 3000 miles on it since their rebuild. The motor has 325 horse, with a mild cam and bored .30 over. The tranny does have a B&M shift kit.Now that I have explained the basics,I will list all that has been done. Completely rebuilt 350 Eng. -----------------3000 miles. Rebuilt turbo 350 Tranny-----------------------3000 miles New Candy apple pearl metalic paint, with 4 shades of pearl. Formula Hood. Trans Am Fender flares, and front air dam. Contoured to fit mud flaps. New BF Goodrich radial T/As-------------------3000 miles 70 Z- 28 Wheels and caps. New Headliner New Carpet New recaro style racing seats. New dash pad. New Brakes, front and rear. New dual exhaust. The car does not have a heater in it,becaus I rescued it from some one who was going to make it into a 1/4 mile drag car.It does still have the traction bars that he mounted on it.All the light work, windshield wipers work, and all guages work.In a nut shell, this bird is one bad ass every day driver. It is not a trailer queen, nor is it a show car. What it is,is a great car to take to those shows,or just one you want to be rememberd at a stop light in.It turns head every where I take it,and nothing but compliments. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.I consider a winning bid,a contract to buy.So please only bid to win,and bid with confidence.I pride myself on my work, and I promise no disappointments.Thank you and good luck.
