Vehicle Detail

Update: I've taken the car to the mechanic see update details below Problems: *Engine shakes but only at 1100 RPM (see details below) *Passenger door and roof were sanded down and puttied to fix any rust spots and small holes, the basecoat was applied but not the clearcoat. (I'll be giving you basecoat and clearcoat with the purchase of the vehicle, they are the correct factory color). *various knicks on the car from stones being kicked up, very small rust spot on rear driver side wheel well and another small rust spot on front passenger side wheel well. Those are the problems with the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. Selling my ford mustang, 2000, V6 Manual. Car is overall in good shape, has gotten me where I need to go with no problems and in style too. Since I've had the car I've changed the oil every 3000 miles. About a year ago I changed the clutch (nothing too special, it was a $300 clutch no racing clutch since I don't race my car). About 6 months ago I changed the brake pads, rotors, calipers, brake fluid. It had a cd-player installed when I got the car (the factory cd player is still installed but the new one is much better, plays mp3 cd's, etc.). Heat blows very hot and A.C. blows very cold. Two things to note: first off the car is 10 years old so of course it's going to have a few cosmetic issues (see below) but as I said before, it looks very good as you'll see in the pictures. The other thing to note is that the car idles fine, runs fine, accelerates fine but at about 1100 RPM's the engine vibrates more than I think it should, when you get a bit above 1100 RPM's it's fine, when you get below 1100 RPM's it's fine. I need to stress this so people don't put too much emphasis on it, the car runs fine! I've driven the car back and forth to Illinois a couple times with no problems whatsoever. I'm including one pint of basecoat 2000 Ford Black Ebony C UA M6373 and one pint of Duracryl acrylic lacquer hi-performance clear coat in case you decide to repaint any of the vehicle. I'm selling the vehicle because I just purchased a 2009 Yamaha YZF R6s. PLEASE ask questions before bidding, I encourage you to know as much about the vehicle as possible but I've said everything I can think of in this ad! If you have 0 feedback or poor feedback please contact me BEFORE placing a bid or clicking buy it now or I may remove your bid! I reserve the right to end auction early as I'm selling locally as well. Update details: I've taken the car to the mechanic to get the oil changed (4/5/10) and get a diagnostic run on the car to figure out what's going on with the excess engine vibration. The mechanic said he's fairly certain it's because it needs a tuneup (spark plugs & wires) and demonstrated so with a spray bottle. When he sprayed a fine mist on the one wire it arc'd around, he thinks that's the reason for the engine vibration, a good tuneup is going to cost you about $200 so I'm going to lower the reserve and buy it now by $200. If you want the car delivered you have to arrange all of that. I will drive the car up to 150 miles for an additional fee. There is no warranty expressed or implied the vehicle is sold AS IS. Do not bid unless you have the means and intention of paying if you win the auction. $250 non-refundable payment is due via paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction. The rest of the payment must be paid in person, no personal checks unless you want to wait until it clears! On May-05-10 at 10:02:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I had people asking me about pictures of the interior and so forth, I'm going to attach some pictures that aren't so great but there are no stains or rips in any of the interior and I've regularly used various preserving materials on the leather/plastic parts inside the car. http://s872.photobucket.com/albums/ab281/Evasive22/
