up for sale is a 1978 chevy 1/2 ton scottsdale 10 pickup . runs and drives great with lots of power . has a 350 V8 and cherry bomb exhaust , edelbrock 4 barrel carb , 4 speed manual transmission with granny low . ck model, 4 wheel drive . recently the belts and thermostat were replaced and the front end was rebuilt with new ball joints , tie rods , tie rod ends , steering damper and a front end alignment . the truck drives nice and straight down the road . the engine runs strong with no leaks or noises . the transmission & clutch works great like it should . the tires have approximately 50% tread life left . ive never had to use the 4 wheel drive so condition of that is unknown although i know of no reason why it shouldnt be ok . has no major rust issues , but does have a few rust pinholes at the bottom of the right front fender , in the bottom of the tailgate and a couple small spots in the bed . the worst of it is in the tail gate , so that would be an easy fix if that was a concern . i tried to show clear pictures of these areas . has a spot light , tachometer , fm radio , cd player , and a bench seat . the miles on it are over 80,000 but the odometer doesnt count past 99,999 so actual mileage unknown kept in a barn for years then was driven a few times a week to my work . although id love to keep it , bills must be paid so the truck must go now . ive tried my best to tell you everything i know about the truck . its a good one ! i'm asking $2,000 but will consider reasonable offers . thanks . THE GOOD: installed tachometer front end rebuilt and aligned new tie rod ends, ball joints, steering damper was told it has 3 inch lift but have no papers to prove it new thermostat cherry bomb exaust load tie downs added THE BAD: both door windows need to be lubed or adjusted or repaired as they do go up and down really hard and wont go all the way up or down . some minor scratches , dimples , and dings , but overall pretty straight . doesnt appear to have ever been in an accident . THE UGLY a few rust pin holes in the right lower part of front fender , a couple spots on the bed and several spots on the tail gate . vehicle is sold as is where is with no warranty and no guaranty of any kind !! i have it listed in other advertisements as well so i reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. thank you
