Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevelle SS454 clone. No Reserve! Tribute car. Pro Street/Strip I must be loosing my mind! You are bidding on a very nice recently redone 1970 Chevelle with no reserve! This car will go to a new home. Originally a V8 4 speed Malibu but converted to an SS454. This car at one point was set up to hit the strip. It has the fuel cell and dual batteries under the rear trunk lid. Very easy to convert back to stock if desired. It has been redone to appear as a super sport (SS) car with the big block hood and SS badges. Here are some details of the car: Trim tag: ST70 13637 BL 02208 BDY TR771 55 B PNT 8D 020884 280446 Drive train: The motor is a big block 454 pushing an estimated 600hp on premium gas. It was built by Oleson racing a renowned race engine builder out of Kamas, Utah. I’m not positive what guts are in the engine but it is scary fast! I have included a few pics of the heads so you can see the quality parts it was built with. It has a Weland team G intake a Holley double pumper carb and a MSD ignition system. Headers, electric water pump, Mallory fuel pump and radiator fan. The transmission is a sweet B&M racemaster turbo 350 with a 3200 stall converter and Hurst shifter. The rear-end is an upgraded Auburn 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears. The power brakes and power steering along with the inner front wheel wells were removed to lessen weight to fly down the track. I have a brand new set of metal inner wheel wells with hardware if the winner bidder would like them. The car was originally a V8 4 speed car that’s why the clutch is still there with a line locker in place. Interior: The interior is very nice and has been redone with new carpet, door panels, sun visors, headliner and rear seat covers along with new weather striping around the windows. The floors were in excellent condition with zero rust when the original carpet was pulled out. The dash does have a few cracks in it but not real noticeable and can be easily replaced. The speedo is currently not hooked up. Has high back race bucket seats installed as well. Exterior: The exterior is beautiful. Just had a black repaint a month ago with the white SS stripes and new badges all around. The front bumper is new as well. The rims are Crager SS mounted with BFG Radial TA’s that have less than 500 miles on them. Disk brakes up front. Headlight and tail lights work but the front blinkers need to be hooked up. Currently missing windshield wipers but once again, an easy cheap addition. The frame is in excellent condition as well. The hood is fiberglass and removes completely off the car. The doors shut nice and solid and have nice lines. Overall this is a very nice car that would blow the doors off a true LS6 and at a fraction of the price. Previous owner stated that the engine alone has over $10K invested. Don't wait to until the last second to bid or you'll miss out on this awesome car. Please ask as many questions as you need to feel confident about bidding. I reserve the right ot end the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. Winning bidder will arrange their own transportation. I can deliver up to 250 miles for .50 per mile if desired. Payment is due within 5 days of auction end. Car is being sold as is with no warranty. Good luck bidding!
