1974 Honda CT

I am relisting this CT because Ive had several inquiries/requests to do so. If it doesn't sell this time around I'll probably keep for the summer shows or sell locally. The highest bid the last time around was pretty close to the reserve so here it goes....... A very nice 1974 Honda CT90 Trail 90 with only 1432 iriginal miles on it. I acquired this bike last summer and I am only the second owner. The motorcycle was originally purchased from a local Honda shop in 1975, and it comes with the original sales reciept and odometer certification issued in 1975. The owner/seller told me that it was ridden by her to go back and forth to work five miles each way in the time shortly after it was purchased. This CT appears to never have seen offroad conditions and it was kept in a heated garage up til the time I bought it. Has front and rear Yokohama tires with good tread and hold air, rim chrome is very nice. Exhaust has no rust and chrome deflector in great condition. Sidecover has a couple if very minor scratches which you have to look close to see. Mirrors have some light pits on the stems otherwise nice. Right engine side clutch cover has a small area if paint corrosion that Ive included a pix of but its hard to see. The air filter cover/end was missing and have replaced with a repainted one that matches but not perfect. Fork boots were cracked so I replaced with NOS ones. Battery was purchased last summer which I have reciept for. Put the battery in two weeks ago and after sitting for all winter it started on the second kick. Carb was cleaned and motor tuned shortly after I purchased it. All the electrics work except for the low beam of headlight. I DO HAVE a replacement NOS sealbeam that comes with the deal. Comes WITH the owners manual and WITHOUT the toolkit. The bike was judged last Oct at the AMCA Chesapeake chapter meet and it scored 99 1/4 pts out of 100, the three deductions being the cracked/torn fork boots which have been replaced, the repainted air box cover and an incorrect headlight adjustment screw which I havent gotten around to changing yet. The trophy goes with the sale. This is a very nice CT90, I have knitpicked some very minor discrepencies but overall if you look at the pictures I think you'll agree with me. If she doesn't sell I will have some fun taking it to shows this summer. I do have a clear PA title in my name and depending on when the bike is picked up there is a notory tag service two miles up the road to handle title transfer.
