What you see here is the most sought after, and rarest of the wonderful Toyota Land Cruisers, the FJ45. This is the removable hard top 4x4 model offered in the US only from 1963-1967. This particular FJ45 has lived it's whole life in central inland California, as evident in the body condition. With no modifications of any kind, this is the sort of FJ45 one looks for years to find. I know I did. I have owned 59 FJ45, and this one is a great start. Plans called for a major restoration ( a habit of mine...), but I have lost my storage building, so it needs to find a new home. I restore these for a living, from dead stock to highly modified. I know what is important in a core vehicle for restoration, and this has the right stuff. Straight bed floor, all complete, even has the rare headache bar behind the cab. Comes with some new OEM lights, a seat upholstery kit, and a few trinkets to get you started. Has not run for years, was reported to have run when parked. Non-stock tailgate, but those are available now as new quality reproductions. Consider it a "blank canvas" for the 45 resto of your dreams. Build yourself, or inquire about having me design and restore to your liking.
