Up for auction is a very solid 1969 Dodge Charger with a 440 engine and automatic transmission. This car has an odometer reading of 76,428 miles and has probably been turned over once. We purchased this car here in Ohio but it originally came from California. After he purchased it 10 years ago out of California, the previous owner brought it to Ohio and stored it in his garage. He drove it a handful of times, only putting about 1000 miles on it over the 10 years he owned it. So as you can tell, it has been well cared for. The engine fires up on command and sounds great. It has dual exhaust and is a factory A/C car. Engine has a 4 barrel carburetor, power disc brakes, power steering, and dual horn set up. Front ball joints and tie rods have been replaced. Vehicle is also equipped with electronic ignition. All gauges and lights work properly. The factory headlight doors are still operational. Charging system works very well and the wiring throught the car is outstanding. The glass is in good shape and the windows go up and down properly. All of the outside trim is there and intact. Vehicle has newer tires with plenty of tread left. Car starts and stops very well and could be used as a daily driver while you personalize it. The body of the car is amazing. Vehicle has all of the original sheet metal and does not need any major work. It does need a paint job. This is the car you've been looking for. All you need to do is give it a paint job and a few touch ups here and there and you will have a real winner. There are bubbles under the vinyl top which will need to be addressed in the future. However, there is not any major problems with this car. The trunk weatherstrip is bad and has caused moisture to enter the trunk. The pan center is weak and will need replaced. The interior look very good. The front seats have been recovered and it also has new carpet and a new headliner. The rear seat seat shows a little wear. The door panels are intact and are very presentable. This is a great car to enjoy throughout the summer as you restaore it at your own pace. Remember, this car has all of the original sheet metal and is still super clean. The frame rails and underside are immaculate creating a solid foundation for your dream car.
