Guys, this is gonna make somebody a great car!!! A couple of key things right off the bat that answers most general questions: 1. the car is from idaho and doesnt have much rust at all, just a small place on the lower cowl left and right sides right where the reveal is down by where the running board and fender and cowl meet. it would not require a whole patch panel to be put in, only a small 3x3 piece. I have attached photos of these areas needing repair so you can make your own assessment. 2. the car is on an open idaho title. YOU WONT HAVE TO BUY THAT LATER AS A HISTORICAL DOCUMENT. 3. the front floor board has been hacked up a bit, and it would be best just to count on putting a front floor from drake in 4. i do have an original 3 window ford seat frame in pretty good shape 5. the car has been in dry storage for a long time, and it still is. if you buy it and want it to stay indoors for a while till you can pick it up, that is no problem 6. the frame center section has been hacked on a little bit, it isn't that bad two 3"x6" repairs will fix. I have attached a photo, judge for yourself. 7. the rear end looks to be an early olds or 55 chevrolet type with a removable third member. 8. the front has been converted to hydraulic and has 40 ford wheels on the front 9. the roof has not been filled, the wood is still there and is good. also the insert track is in great condition. 10. the glass is all there, the rear rolls up and down, and the regulators are still in the doors , the front still rolls out like it should. 11. the front fenders are really good. both have a small crack in the front that needs to be tig welded. 12. the left rear fender is nos - new 13. the right rear fender is a piece from a sedan and can be converted with little effort to a coupe fender width. it is almost in nos cond. 14. the grill is useable for a painted piece. i wouldnt count on it being re-chromable 15. the package tray is still in the back, all the wood is still good, tack strips are still there too. 16. there is a large dent in the rear underneath where the spare would have been, it can be pulled out, there is no rust out and it doesnt need a patch panel overall the body and panels are in really nice shape, not dented, beat up or rotted out. i will be happy to post additional pictures or answer any other questions. Feel free to PM me.
