bianchipista666 Store 1975 SUZUKI GT550 Indy GT Two Stroke Triple MOTORCYCLE You are bidding on a classic 1975 Suzuki GT550 Motorcyle. The engine is 550cc Two Stroke Inline Three Cylinder. I purchased this here on ebay a couple of years back; paid $1700 if I remember correctly. I literally put about 7 miles on it. Its hard and expensive to keep a bike in NYC, so I never even tried to. The bike has always been stored in Mercer County, NJ 08690. Losing my garage space, I never have time to ride it and I could use the cash so here we go... Here's what's been done to it by the previous owner: - New top end engine rebuild with freshly bored cylinders, brand new pistons, rings, and gaskets. Crankcase was nice and tight and didn't require work. - New tires w/about 100 miles on them. - New Battery - New Points - New Condensers - Plugs, caps, wires - Rebuilt Carbs - Replaced exhaust - Replaced steering tube bearings - Full Tune Up HAVE RECEIPTS FOR ALL WORK. ENGINE IS NOT EVEN BROKEN IN YET. Like I said I only road the bike twice (about 7 miles) since all of the work was done. The engine ran smooth and strong. Title is CLEAR and ready to go. This is a pretty old bike so it has some minor issues: - The bike has been sitting so it might need some freshening/fiddling to get it in riding condition. I came down to NJ last weekend and could not get it started although I only gave it a couple of kicks before deciding to go inside and have beer instead. The bike ran perfectly before I parked it and I'm sure it won't take much to get this going. I inherited these issues when I bought the bike: -The seat was torn. -Paint was faded. -Small dent in the tank -Starter clutch was tired so electric starter had a hard time starting the bike when cold. -The mounting bolt on the left side of the exhaust manifold is a little crooked, but mechanically fine. This bike ain't perfect but its mostly original and complete. No Rot. Doesn't appeared to have been crashed, dropped, or laid-down. A great ridable classic. Cosmetically not perfect but has a nice patina in my opinion. All the hard stuff has been done already. Maybe play with the carbs, charge the battery and fiddle with the spark and this baby should run strong for a long time to come. Comes with receipts, manual, and spare parts like an extra set of ignition coils, two stroke oil, fuses. I've been posting this on craigslist for several months and have had only 1 response.
