You're bidding on a 1990 Cutlass Calais S Couple with the 442 Sport package. The sport package mainly consists of the 2.3 L DOHC high output Quad 4 engine (LG0) and sport ratio 5-speed manual transmission, P215/60R14 tires, along with the Level III performance ride and handling package. We're the only ones that have owned the car; it was purchased new from a local dealer. The odometer reading is 195,228 miles and is the actual mileage. The vehicle is in excellent mechanical shape. The engine was replaced in 2005 with a Grimes rebuild (NAPA, numbers match "A" engine in VIN) at approximately 164,736 miles along with new struts and shocks. The tires are two years old with less than 12,000 miles on them. The body is in good condition. The paint is original. The car was undercoated, Ziebart in 1991; however, there are two spots above the right-rear wheel well starting to rust out, and one spot on the left-rear rocker panel in front of the rear wheel. There is a dime size "bullseye" chip in the front windshield, on the drivers side out of the line of sight. The interior is in fair condition. The headliner has a small 1/8" hole above the drivers seat and is generally starting to come down. The master electronic relay which controls the courtesy lights and seat belt lights is inoperative. There's also a problem with the fuel gauge. The car was used as a daily driver for many years without any significant maintenance problems. I have the major maintenance records, as well as the original window sticker.
