Paul Bracq combined the style of the English with German reliability, hand made craftsmanship, beautiful wood work, standard leather (including the dashboard) and the ultra reliable M129 mechanical fuel Injection engine. This particular car received a "light" restoration painted DB172 Anthrasite Metallic, new cognac a leather & up graded wood work to burl walnut several years ago. New springs all around new brakes, new brake lines. rebuilt transmission (bearings) with a new clutch kit. One of the best things done to the car is, the rear axle ratio has been changed from 3.93 to 3.23, the latter is know as the V-8 ratio, the ratio improves the top end, but more importantly brings the RPM's down about 700 rpm at 60-70 Mph. Much quieter at speed and the engine is not working as hard. Makes cruising much more enjoyable. all rear sub frame bushings were done . Upgraded R134 A/C with correct original kulmeister under dash unit. New front & rear window seals, and new tinted windshield, New OE mercedes headliner.
