This is a No Reserve auction for a 1986 Nissan 300zx. One owner. 69K, Manual. V6. I volunteer for a non-profit charity called Step 13, (www.step13.org). We have a car donation program. This car was donated to us. As a result I don't have a whole lot of history with it. What I do know is: the folks who donated it to us bought it new in 1986 with 61 miles on it. They seem to have taken pretty good care of it. I've taken it out for a spin and it drives pretty well. No major dents... several dings on the passenger door side. There's some wear on the seats and a fair amount on the back carpet. (see pics). Glass is all good. Most everything seems to be working... windows,brakes, lights, heater....but I couldn't get the air condu to get real cold. It might need a charge. There's some sun wear on the dash. Bottom line: it's used but in pretty nice condition but I can't tell you how long it'll be worry free. If you plan on bidding and you live out of state I always suggest to people that they transport cars just because we don't have any history with them. I hate to see people fly in, get in and just drive off. While this Nissan seems solid it just makes me nervous to see you get on the highway and drive off into the sunset without knowing the car a little better. But obviously this is your choice. Please don't ask me if I think it'll make it to Topeka or Tacoma. I have no idea. All I can say is it's running right now and it seems like a solid car. We have a dealer's license so all the dealer paperwork has to be completed before pick up and if you live in Colorado we have to collect the applicable taxes. But we will give you a temp tag and registration. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge! In addition to wanting it paid for in full within 3 days we'd also like it picked up within 3 days. We're in downtown Denver and space is at a premium. Obviously, if you're far away we can try to work with you but we don't want to have to store it for more than a week. We need it moved ASAP. So please don't bid if you can't get it soon.
