Hello, you are viewing a very clean 1974 BMW 2002 with rare Automatic. This is a superb BMW purchased for my wife because of its cuteness. Car runs flawlessly with its perfectly smooth shifting auto transmission. Used as a daily driver and is rock solid reliable. Perfect for a first car or even as a daily driver for a commuter. Every thing works as it should, blinkers, flashers, taillights, instruments, cigarette lighter, even the interior lights work when you open the door, wipers, wiper squirters, original working radio. Windows and wing windows operate very smoothly This car starts quicker than my new fuel injected cars, has an eclectic choke, Idles nice and smooth. No funny noises, clunks, rattles when driving. Just a nice quiet rock solid feeling. Car does not smoke, never stalls, brakes perfectly straight, and tracks straight down the highway as if it were front wheel drive. The car is meant to be a daily driver and is 36 years old, and there for have the typical dings scratches and chips. All of which are minor blemishes, Car still gets an unbelievable amount of attention where ever it goes. I don’t think I’ve been in car where I received more thumbs up from people, and I drive some very outlandish cars. The interior is very close to perfect, probably the only 2002 I have ever seen that still has a crack free dash, this due to being garage most all of its life. Seats are very comfy and fully adjustable 6.2 tall people not a problem. Non smoker Engine compartment is clean and has an automatic electric choke and upgraded electronic ignition. Tons of literature with owners manual, radio manual and its leather pouch, has the original jack and spare tire in the trunk, and best of all its West German tool pouch. Clear clean title in hand Car needs nothing except a driver. The engine has perfect compression evenly across all 4 cylinders and the transmission was also recently replaced, and truly does not miss a beat. You will not even be able to feel it shift.. All lights, and interior lights and dash lights work. I have found the clock not to be working. Climate control also is in working order In the paper work i found some sort of a receipt for under car treatment when new. With the exception of some road grime, the under carriage looks very good. No leaks in the driveway
