Vehicle Detail

You’re bidding on a 1965 Sunbeam Alpine currently in Wisconsin, previously titled in California. The car runs and handles well, and the interior is in great condition. Glass, Chrome and Convertible top are all in good shape. Horn, turn signals and heat work, all doors and windows open and close just fine. Minor stone chips behind the front wheels, there is no rust. The car had been restored 12 years ago. The car was stripped down to bare metal and repainted in GM’s white pearl. The stock 4 cylinder engine has been replaced by a 2.8l Ford out of a 70’s Mustang II. The transmission is a Ford T-5 (5spd) using a hydraulic throw-out bearing. The engine is fit with custom headers that lead into true dual exhaust all the way back (Tiger style). The interior is in great shape. Alpine super tuner with amp mounted under the passenger seat, leads back to two subwoofer speakers. Battery has been moved to the trunk to make room for the dual exhaust. The car comes with a tonnaeu cover that zips out for the driver compartment as well as the soft top which is in very good shape. The hard top has been painted to match the car, but was never finished being put together. The hard top doesn’t have the window or trim installed. I may have the window and trim, if the buyer is interested let me know to confirm. Please see photos for the bad: One baseball size dent in the top of the passenger fender, as well as one dent in the deck lid as well. It also is missing one rear lug nut due to a broken stud and a slow leaking front left brake caliper forces me to bleed brakes annually. The fuel gauge does not work, and oil pressure gauge has never been connected. I usually drive the car a few times per year otherwise it is garage kept and remains very solid and clean. This vehicle’s Wisconsin title states “This Vehicle is exempt from odometer disclosure.” Please email any questions. Serious bidders only. Buyer responsible for pickup within 2 weeks of auction close. Winning bidder will need to make a deposit of $100 within 48 hours, remainder of payment due upon pickup.
