This is a 1991 Lexus 400 4D seized by the Milford Police Department during a criminal investigation. The vehicle was running, tagged and operable at the time of seizure but has been impounded for over 6 months. There is no claim to the operability of this vehicle made by the seller. The vehicle has been painted and there are noticeable defects. The vehicle currently has flat tires which may or may not hold air. This listing indicates 0 miles as we are unable to power the vehicle up without the ignition key to read the odometer. We are guessing that the vehicle has high mileage and will update this listing if and when we can locate the ignition key. The interior is damaged in places, and there are numerous dings dents and body damage all over the vehicle. Upon forfeiture by the Delaware Courts, the City of Milford was issued a salvage title. This vehicle could be used for parts, or could be repaired and driven. It will most likely need to be moved from 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE by roll back or tow truck. At present we are unable to locate the ignition key(s) but the investigating officers are still looking through case files in an attempt to locate them. Photo shows interior via the drivers side window as vehicle is locked and we are unable at this time to access it. There is NO WARRANTY expressed nor implied and this vehicle must be removed within 14 days of close of auction. All charges to move or otherwise ship the vehicle are the responsibility of the buyer. Vehicle can be picked up by appointment 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. On Apr-27-10 at 15:53:06 PDT, seller added the following information: We have been unable to locate the ignition key for this vehicle. It is possible it was discarded by accident. Please make arrangements to have the vehicle moved without activating the ignition switch, or have a locksmith respond. Winning Bidder may call Lexus to determine if a key may be ordered using the VIN Number as well.
