1973 Jeep Commando - Jeepster I drove this all last summer, I put the top on last December and now it is just sitting. I move it in and out of my shop multiple times a week, so it gets started and moved all the time. Originally a 304 V8, has been replaced with a newer 360 V8, New plugs, wires, Holley Carb, filters, fluids, runs strong and sounds great. Manual everthing....steering, trans, brakes, no extra junk to fool with. Factory 4.27 gears help it go anywhere and climb anything. The tires in the pics are no longer on it, it has 4 whitewall all season tires on it now. I need to clear out some jeeps and trying to sell this jeep with brand new rubber just doesn't work. I have the Yokohama All Terrains shown on the truck and will put them back on for an extra $300, They cost about $500 and are still like new. The only issues it has now......no mirrors to be legal, horn doesn't work, brakes need bled (new master cyl installed) Steering is sloppy (could use adjustment or a new box?) It is missing a door glass (I think pass side) This jeep is clearly a 1973, but is titled as a 1968 Jeepster, the tag on the firewall matches the title and it is currently licensed and registered in my name, I have the title. Look at the pics, it's not a show car but fun as hell to drive with the top off. bid to own...I'm listing to sell!
