Vehicle Detail

I have a pair of GTA's I need to get rid of so here is the story. A guy bought the black 88' to fix up and had my buddy rebuild the transmission and do some other minor work for him. The guy couldn't pay for the repairs to the car so my buddy got the car in payment for work done. My buddy didn't want the car so he sold it to me. I picked up the maroon one to use as a donor car. The plan was to part out the maroon one to complete the black one but once I started to dig into the black one I decided to switch the two around and put all my effort into the maroon one. The reason for this is that sometime before my buddy or I owned the black one it had had some body work done to it from an accident and it was not done properly. The amount of body work needed on the maroon one is minimal so it makes for a better build up canidate. I have the titles for both cars and they clean and not salvage titles. Now the problem is that I just don't have time or interest anymore to complete this project. I also don't have the time to part out either one so I'm selling them together. Pretty much everything is there between the two cars to make one great looking GTA. I had already started to pull the maroon one apart so that is why it looks crappy plus there is a ton of extra parts there to sell off what you don't need and regain some dollars. The Black one is a 1988 Trans Am GTA with a 5.7 350ci TPI V8, a 700R4 auto trans (4 speed w/ overdrive that was rebuilt less than 5k ago) and a 3.73 posi rear end. It has power windows and locks, tilt, cruise, A/C, and a digital dash that works great. It runs strong and I drive it all the time, but it will need a little TLC. The car is primer black currently (it was still kind of wet when i took the pic) and the front tires are new, but the back ones will need to be replaced within the next 10k miles or so. I had to hard wire one of the electric fans to an external switch to help keep it cool in the summer and it does the trick perfectly. Also the driver's window will not go down due to a faulty motor, but the pass side works fine. The maroon one is a 1990 Trans Am GTA with no motor or trans. It was originally a 5.0 305ci TPI V8 with a 4 speed auto. It has power windows and locks, tilt, cruise, T-Tops, drivers airbag, and a120mph gauge cluster set to 0 miles. The body is actually in better condition on this car then the black one with only one small dent behind the driver's door. The dash in this car is mint along with the console and those two items are hard to find in good condition. I have almost all of the interior out of the car currently, but it is all there and in good condition. There are no drivers or pass seats though ( they were gone when I bought the car). Here is a list of some of the extra parts I have for the cars: -set of Lexan t-tops -complete 140mph gauge cluster set to 0 miles -hatch pull down motor. -GTA horn button (this is rare and there are two of them) -Misc switches - extra console and radio pod -If I can find them, a set of original 16" GTA rims If you have any questions or are local and want to set up a time to see them e mail me at jharrison5@neb.rr.com I also have these listed locally. On Apr-25-10 at 14:41:01 PDT, seller added the following information: 4/25/10 - I added more pics per the request of some interested members. Any questions please feel free to e mail me. On Apr-27-10 at 19:54:57 PDT, seller added the following information: The rims are stuck in a storage shed 50miles west of where I live and I will not be able to get to them until my father returns from Montana. Sorry for the inconvenience.
