1941 Packard One Twenty 1495 Club Coupe, Series 1901. Beautiful & mostly original car that spent most of its life in New Mexico and Texas prior coming to Iowa. The paint (black), upholstery, chrome, & engine are unusually good for a car 69 years old. NEW items attended to during our ownership: Electric fuel pump Hogshair carpets from Hirsch Oil pan & valve cover gaskets Carb mounts Seat belts Turn signals Motor mounts Carb kit Fuel filter All new distributor parts, spark plugs & plug wires New fuel regulator Rear pinion seal Water pump re-build Radiator removed and boiled Valves adjusted The hood ornament is upgraded to a beautiful Packard Cormorant. The car has a Packard over-drive that does not work. The radio and clock also do not work. ALL gauges and heater do function. The dash is beautifully trimmed with wood grained and the plastic is in very attractive condition. Packard manuals, including an owners, shop, and parts books are included. The engine is nicely detailed with the correct Hirsch Packard green paint. One of the finest original & desireable Packard 120 Club Coupes. This car was driven the summer of 2009 to the Nationals in Branson, MO and performed very well covering a total of 1045 miles. Currently www.nada.com shows these prices for a 1941 Packard 120 2 door Club Coupe: Low retail $14,350; Average retail $31,200; High retail $56,900.
