1974 Triumph TR6 This TR6 had a FRAME OFF restoration in 1994 and has 10000 miles since then. Many performance and upgrades were made at this time to make this vehicle the ultimate TR6 Details Body Body has zero rust and was removed from frame. Original Arizona car. It has been prepped and painted inside and out and underneath. No hidden damage or repairs. It has been painted with a single stage burgundy color. It does have some small chips and imperfections now as the paint is 15 years old. I would rate the paint as a 8 of 10. It has been buffed recently and shines like new. Body fit is perfect(better than stock) Hood trunk and door gaps are excellent and open and close perfectly All bumpers doorhandles and chrome trim show as new and were replaced or rechromed when restored. Car includes both hardtop and softtop . hard top is in great condition and hasnt been on the car in years. soft top is in great condition with no rips or tears. rear most window is showing some yellowing and is slightly opaque from age. quarter windows are clear. Also included is a tan cover for the soft top and a black tonneau cover that covers driver compartment which are in perfect condition. Talbot mirrors are installed. Hella driving lights installed below bumper. HID headlights have been installed. Glass is in very good conditon and is original. all rubber has been replaced and is in great condition.all hardware and latches have been plated or painted. Interior. Seats have been recovered and carpet replaced. no rips or tears in the upholstery. Dash is perfect wood. no cracks in dash panels. 1 small crack just in front of shifter in console approx 1/2 inch. All guages are perfect and work properly. Wiring harness was replaced. Alpine cassette player with Polk audio 5 inch speakers. Chrome 3" 4 point roll bar. Overall condition of interior is near perfect. MOMO Black steering wheel. All switches and warning lights work perfectly. Engine. Engine was rebuilt with Arias pistons ,performance camshaft with roller rockers. cylinder head was modified with big valves and topped with Triumphtune aluminum valve cover. Triple Weber 40DCOE carburators installed on a Cannon manifold. K&N filters. Aeroquip steel braided and hardline used throughout. Inside engine compartment was sanded and polished and you can see your reflection in it. Exhaust and header has been ceramic coated and looks excellent. Modified windage tray in oil pan. This engine is very streetable but has plenty of power on tap and sounds so good. Electronic Overdrive transmisson is installed with proper gears for highway use. Brand new battery this week. Photos show the detail and time taken under the hood of this vehicle. new radiator and airbox. all new hoses and lines. Chassis Suspension has been completly rebuilt with performance bushings and new hardware. rear trailing arms were bead blasted and look new. rearend was rebuilt and has ZERO slop. SPAX adjustable shocks on all four corners. Car has been lowered but not too low (looks perfect) Sway bars have been installed front and rear.This thing is solid and handles like a go kart. Not too rough for daily driving. Cross drilled rotors up front and aluminum drums in rear. Steel braided brake lines. PANA SPORT period correct 15x7 8 spoke wheels with Bridgstone Potenza 225/60/15 rubber .Matching spare . rebuilt steering rack. Everything on frame and suspension is painted or powdercoated. This TR6 is tight tight tight. no rattles or vibrations. This TR6 is part of a small private collection and is being sold to make room for a new arrival. It has all the right mods to make it a great road car. Could be a daily driver or show queen. I have a photo essay of the restoration. Many awards won by this car at shows.
