Hi there For auction I have my Golf 2002 GLS TDI 1.9 Diesel that I proudly owned for the last 4 years. I will try my best to describe the car and all is history with as few words as possible but there are so much good things to say. The car as 238500 miles and is being taken good care since mile 0 I have from the previous owner a folder with every single thing that was done to the car most of it at a VW dealer in Connecticut up to mile 157000. Them I purchased the car in June 2006 and all the maintenance was done by me with only original parts from VW including the most important one the Syntectic oil. About the amount of miles let me tell you most of it are highway miles and I have enough proves of that like you can see on the pictures the front bumper, hood and the front part of the fenders they are all full of micro little chips It would’ve be visible on the windshield but It was replaced for the second time 6 months ago. Timing belt was also replaced twice and is due at around 280000 miles the tires have 10000 miles and are rated at 50000 miles by Goodyear. I have the Carfax report ready to be email or fax if you would like to save 30 bucks. I had a small issue to clarify with Carfax and they gave me a report free of charge updated up to 01/11/2010. The Issue was when I bought the car the previous owner had a Carfax report with an accident in 2003 and Carfax misreported the accident resulted in a car fire which was not true and the previous owner call Carfax to initiate an investigation which they did and then they eliminated the comment. I still have the report where it says they were investigating. The dealer had to readjust the fender and I have the invoice where it shows all the work done but the accident it is still visible on the car it’s on the right fender. I want to make sure that misrepresentation was eliminated and I requested a free car report and they gave me one for free. Bottom line the accident was a very small one and insignificant to the proper performance of the car just look at the pictures. This is a 2 owner car and is equipped with satellite radio from JVC but it is not activated you will need to call Sirius and activate a subscription in your name. The price on the NADA.com clean retail is value at $8775 and the Clean Trade in is set at $6425 so is fare for me to say that the price of $ 5000 is a very good price for this car. The last big trip we had with the car was driving from NYC to the Key West FL for 3000 miles spending $172 in fuel with 4 adults and luggage. I want to clear out that the $5000 that I mention being a very good price for the car it is not the reserve price. It is the fact the car had 4 Owners well on papers yes is true but technical is only 2 being me the second one. What happen was the previous owner had is father buying the car for him and them I bought the car. I had a new credit and new driving record so my ex wife bought it for me because of the price of the insurance but when we got divorce in 2008 them she moved the car from her name to mine. I have all the paper work to prove including the VW receipt from 2002 where it shows the first 2 owners father and son and the promissory note from the bank where it shows that my ex wife as a owner.
