Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my personal truck a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Duramax Diesel Now that I finally have it the way that I want it I need more room in the cab :(I have spent many hours behind the wheel of this truck and all of the miles are highway miles and the truck has been babied since it was new. It is very common for these trucks to go in excess of 300,000 miles without any major issues.I have made some additions to the truck to make it more pleasureable to drive and have spent tons of cash keeping it the way I like it.I started with the seats. The stock GMC seats were very uncomfortable for long trips so I went ahead and located a set up GMC factory leather seats and installed them in the truck, as you can see the seats are in fair to great shape with the average wear. The next thing I wanted to adress was the mileage and power of the truck. I started by installing a Gale Banks Diesel Performance 6 gun diesel tuner with 6 position rotary Switch. Many tuners reduce fuel delivery as exhaust gas temps rise. But they ignore the powertrain! Banks finds the limits of the engine and powertrain, then adds mission-critical ActiveSafety safeguards to Six-Gun so it won’t exceed those limits. As a result, Six-Gun thrashes challengers, not your truck! Calibrated for sport applications, Six-Gun is a performance junkie that adds +124 hp/+303 lb-ft. With its CleanTune Technology and change-on-the-fly power, Six-Gun with Speed-Loader rockets you from 0-60 mph 24% quicker and 154 feet ahead of stock ... without adding soot! The next item I adressed was the exhaust. I wanted something that would have a better sound, and some performance and reduce egt's, but not be loud on the highway. I had the MBRP Pro Series T304 Stainless Steel 4" Cat Back System installed. The Duramax has a refined toughness to it. MBRP Inc has left the refined part to General Motors, and added extra toughness. The Duramax makes big power gains with this high flow 4" mandrel bent exhaust system. Each system is a direct bolt on application and is manufactured as a full 4" system all the way to the 5" diameter exhaust tip. Lower EGT (exhaust gas temperature), improved fuel economy along with more towing power are just some of the added benefits of having this system installed on the Duramax. This all ads up to gains of +36hp/+97 lb-ft of torque. The power of the stock truck is 310hp/610 lb-ft of torque, with the additions I have made it should sit at 470 HORSEPOWER and 1010 Foot Pounds of TorqueEven with the massive amount of power on tap I average 26mpg on the highway and 18-20 towing. With the massive amount of power readily available at the press of the skinny pedal I went on the adress the rear end. Less than 5,000 miles ago I notice that the rear end was leaking from the seals and decided to go ahead and replace the whole assembly with a posi system and install new seals all the way around. While I was at it I went ahead and adressed a few maintenance Items. The transmission was flushed and fluid changed with Amsoil, replaced the fluid in the transfer case with Amsoil, the shocks were replaced, the brake rotors were turned and new pads were installed, The tires were replaced with GoodYear all trerrain tires (which are amazingly quiet). I am a maintenance freak and have changed the oil ever 2500miles and the fuel filter at every 5,000 mile interval. I also installed a flip over gooseneck ball (2 5/16) in the bed and a brake controller, for when I tow my trailer. It also has a class 5 receiver hitch on the back. Now for the bad..... I had a gooseneck trailer behind the truck and slipped on some ice and jack knifed the trailer into the side of the truck... This is purely a cosmetic issue and does not affect the reliablity of any items on the truck. I have estimates to fix the truck at $2500-$2900 and any reputable shop would be able to fix it for you should you desire. A quick Kelley Blue Book Check on this truck (not including the banks, mbrp, rear end, etc) come in at $18,615 If you figure in the damage at $4,000 (high to be on the safe side) that puts the suggested retail value on it at $14,615 but I am starting this truck with NO RESERVE for $5,000 and hopefully someone on here can get a steal of a deal on a great truck! If you have any questions please feel free to email me or call me at 701 570 13 Seven Seven Thanks! Adam NOTE: The truck has a CLEAN title and has never been recorded as damaged or salvaged
