Cold A/C. 5 Speed Manual. CD Radio. You are bidding on a beautiful 1988 Porsche 911 coupe. I purchased this vehicle just over 2 years ago and have spent my spare time and thousands of dollars making it what you see today. The car was venetian blue, a poor color choice for any 911. So I had the car professionally stripped to the bare metal and painted jet black. This car shows no signs of rust and has not had any body damage whatsoever. The car has an amazing mirror black finish which you can see in the detailed pictures. I put brand new Fuchs replica wheels on the car and brand new Dunlop tires. I even opted to install the very expensive Porsche center caps with the colored crest. A nice touch and something that truly sets the wheels off. All the weather seals and door moldings were replaced so the car is sealed very tight - just like new. The original interior was grey with blue carpets and was in poor condition. I had the interior professionally redone as well. New black carpets and headliners. I left the aftermarket radio and speakers that were with the car - sound is great but to be honest I rarely drive with the radio playing as the engine has a much prettier note! The car was then turned over to a local Porsche center (Fisher Motorsports in Barrington, IL) where the engine and suspension was thoroughly checked. The top of the engine prior to my purchase had just been rebuilt and as a result the engine runs strong and pulls hard all the way up to the 6250 red line. The car is a pleasure to drive and will keep you grinning for years to come. All that is left to be done is to replace or reskin the front seats.
