1959 Chevrolet Bel air 2 door I’ve owned this car about 7 years. Car came from the Oakland CA plant, 60 miles from my house. It is registered and insured and I drive it sparingly for fun. It has original California black plates. Car has stayed locally and in California all its life. VIN # C590151763. Over 90% Original paint and interior. The paint even shines and could probably be worked on to look even better. The body has a dent in the front left fender needing correction but the rest is exceptionally strait and original. All the stainless steel trim is in very good shape and shines. The rocker panels, floors, doors, front fenders etc. are all solid with no rust. The only rust is in the trunk and in the left rear quarter. The right rear quarter is rust free.. Please look at the pictures closely. This is all easy stuff to fix and I include brand new sheet metal from Classic industries to fix it. Car has a 6 cylinder and a 2 speed automatic from the factory. Most of these had manual transmissions so this is rare and nice. Previous owner had the car for many years and had the motor rebuilt. I recently went through it and changed all the fluids and had the motor totally detailed. This car looks and drives great. I recently took it to the “Good Guys” show in Pleasanton, CA a few weeks ago and got tons of great feedback on the originality, condition and rarity of the car. The car does not come with the wheels in the pics. I will supply the original 14” wheels and hubcaps which are in good shape. I have included several pictures so please look closely.
