1965 Corvette Convertible The engine is a 406” Dart “little M” block with an 8:71 blower and 2 Edelbrock 750 carbs. It has JE 7.5:1 pistons, 4340 Lunati crank and rods, Dart Sportsman C.I. heads with 2:05 & 1.60 valves, Engle hydraulic roller cam with Crane roller rockers. This engine was put together at Sacramento Superchargers. The Hooker ceramic coated headers empty into S/S chambered side pipes. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The transmission is a 4L60 built by Hughes Performance. The rear end was replaced with a Tom’s Differentials 12 bolt set up with 4:11 gears. It has an Eaton posi, 3 1/2” X .134 wall half shafts, 4340 inner and outer axels, offset trailing arms, and a shortened composite rear spring for tire clearance. The brake calipers have been rebuilt with s/s sleeves and the front brakes were upgraded with drilled rotors. The wheels are 15X8 and 15X10 Torq-Thrust II with BFG Comp TA 245 ZR15 and BFG Drag Radial 275 R15. The car has black base coat clear coat paint with pin stripes and sponge graphics, door handles and emblems have been shaved. The body has been customized with flared wheel wells and parking lights moved into the grill. A 1967 big block hood and a hard top are included. The power windows and headlight motors work fine. Things that do not work are the horn, turn signals, battery gage and windshield wipers. The pinion seal has a small leak. There is no spare tire. The paint and body show very well but there are a couple of nicks. There are many spare parts, manuals and documentation that are included. This car is FAST and Loud. It makes children cry when started. We are moving and I need to sell this car.
