2001 BMW 330i - 5 Speed Manual - Black on Black Condition Body & Trim Overall body and trim condition is good for the age of this car. Paint looks very good from six feet away and the interior leather shows normal wear with no rips, tears, stains or burns. The passenger side rear quarter panel shows some swirl marks and what appears to be a slighly less glossy sheen than the rest of the body panels. It is not very obvious when looking at the car, however you can see the difference in direct sunlight. The photo of the passenger side rear quarter panel shows the condition of the paint accurately. Mechanical The car starts and runs well, with the exception of an intermittent rough running condition. The cause of the intermittent rough running could be as simple as an oxygen sensor or other electronic sensor. The condition first developed a few weeks ago, thought lately the car has been running very well. The "Check Engine" light is on intermittently and the ABS light has been on since I purchased the car. Aside from that the car always starts up and runs perfectly. All electrics such as power windows, locks, sunroof, seat and instruments are functioning properly! Suspension, brakes, power steering and other mechanical components are also in very good condition! History I originally purchased this car in Marchof 2008. I have service records on file dating back from May of 2008 which document regular oil changes with Mobil One synthetic oil as well as other maintenance and repairs including a new water pump and all new brake pads and rotors in 2009. The car just recently began running rough intermittentaly a few weeks ago. Lately however it has been running very well. I still drive the car to work every day as the intermittent bouts of rough running have not been enough to really worry me or leave me stranded. The car has a current NJ state inspection. Shipping & Payment A $250 deposit is due via PayPal or Certified Check/Money order within 72 hours of the end of the auction. Payment in full must be either a) Certified Check via Mail - or - b) Cash in Person. Payment in full is due within ten days of the end of the auction and the vehicle must be picked up by the buyer or a shipper within 20 days. Buyer must arrange to pick the car up in person or to have a shipper come to pick the car up. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, however I will coordinate with the buyer's shipper in order to make sure someone is around to meet the shipper on the day of the pick up.
