This is the Hurst Olds that you have been waiting for. I am the second owner and have done approximately 1,000 miles since I purchased the vehicle from the original owner last year. The car was a summer only car based in Missouri. When gas went to three bucks a gallon the original owner/buyer decided to sell the car. It is in very good condition and just needs a little love to be 100 %, but the basics are ALL THERE. Like most Hurst Olds from the 80's a new paint job would do this baby good. It's a helluva looker and the original paint is just beginning to show it's wear. Having stated that, there is NO RUST as this car has never seen rain, snow or salt. I have it garaged in a nice dry enviroment next to my 69 Vette ( the reason that I am selling ). More facts about the car : NO RUST, NO DASH CRACKS, NO SAGGING HEADLINER, INTERIOR EXCELLENT CONDITION AND ALL ORIGINAL ( including radio,wheels,spare, etc..) , MATCHING NUMBERS MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION, DRIVES STRAIGHT AND SMOOTH, NEVER BEEN HIT OR IN AN ACCIDENT. Only the tires are not original, but they are in very good shape with plenty of tread life remaining. Ok then, what's wrong with the car ?? Small minor dings on door, paint is sun burnt on rear spoiler, one side of hood was repainted because a softball landed on it accidentally ( as I was told, and not noticable unless you knew ), small scrape on decal on left rear, small tear (shown) on front left bottom bumper sleeve ( way down too ), small area of carpet worn away by gas pedal (shown) and of course the antenna works only when it feels like. Just basic small signs of age really. Nothing that can't be fixed in a few days. This car remains 100 % restorable, period. Doesn't blow smoke, tranny shifts nice and easy, drives like a new car.
