1997 Mercury: Grand Marquis LS What a Surprise!!! We were fortunate to obtain this Awesome Florida Luxury Sedan from a local dealer, with all the options and history (Guaranteed Autocheck buyback), for an amount that is far less then new, yet as close to NEW as you will find! Window sticker is available and shows a retail amount of $27,933.00. WOW!!! 26,000 miles, and no dings, dents, or rust. Purchased and maintained right here in Florida by some of our "snowbirds." They use them from November thru April, then head back up North! Our favorite kind and here's a few examples why! The exterior is near flawless. I'm sure there are a few blems on the Northstar White paint finish, but can't think of anything worth noting and certainly nothing you'd need to fuss with. Aggressive body style, nicely appointed with color-coded bumpers and body moldings, Factory Mercury Wheels, and 80% tread life remaining on the Matching radials!! Sharp from every angle and definitely a real head turner. All in 1 awesome Grand that someone could feasibly borrow the total amount if needed, Nice!!! This Mercury just could hardly be nicer!! Gorgeous Ivory seating surfaces are like new and door and dash panels as well as all interior appliqués are in great condition with little signs of wear. Nice.. This interior really is NICE!!! Ford sound (AM/FM/CASSETTE), is just plain Fun to listen to. Add to that power everything, ice cold a/c and plenty of room for 5 adults and their STUFF (large trunk) and you realize this is a Lot of car for the money!!! A nonsmoker for sure, floor mats and 1 key round out the package!!! Florida kept vehicles are some of our favorite to offer and for good reason. No Snow so No Salt and No Corrosion. Oh did we mention it only has 26,000 Miles??? Gotta Like that!!! 26,000 miles pretty much sums it up mechanically. Checked, serviced and ready for some drive time. Smooth and steady at any speed and definitely no shakes or shimmies. Solid and tight. Again, our favorite kind. Our Northern buyers will like the added feature of Traction Control. Helps out a bit on those bad weather days. Not familiar with them down here in Sunny Florida, but have heard about them. Sorry about that, but after all, this is paradise!! Anyway...the 4.6 Liter 8 cylinder is one of their best. Plenty of acceleration and performance, yet delivering right at 25 mpg's on the freeway. Very nice indeed. Precise shifting 4 speed automatic with these LOW miles is great and handling has that sport feel, while delivering a superb Luxury ride as well. Again we say, A Lot of Car Here!!!
