This is a very neat, nice 1967 Chevrolet pickup. The truck was purchased new in 1967 by a family friend's great Uncle. Then, in the early 80's, "Uncle Alvin" sold the truck to his brother, who in about 1982, painted the truck, installed a removable bed liner and dual exhaust with glasspacks. These things (paint, bed liner, and exhaust) are the only things on the truck that are not original. It has no body rust, and I just had a complete brake job (front and rear lines, pads, wheel cylinders and hardwear, proportioning valve, and drum resurfacing) done at the end of last summer. The paint is in pristine condition, sparkly and smooth. You wouldn't believe its been over 25 years since its been painted. The 283 cubic inch V8 engine is of course original and runs very smoothly, no knocks or ticks, and was tuned up last summer. The tuneup included a carburetor adjustment, plugs, cap, rotor, and ignition points, as well as a timing adjustment. It starts right up and drives great. 1967 was the first year that Air Conditioning was offered on the C10 pickup line, and of course this beauty is equipped with it. I recharged the AC last summer and converted the system from freon to R-134a refrigerant, but it will need recharged again and the lines replaced in order to blow cold. The heat works great and I have never had any problems mechanically or otherwise out of this truck. The clutch and transmission operate smoothly as well, it is the 4 speed manual transmission with the granny-low first gear. It also has power steering, which works flawlessly with no leaks. The truck rolled over to 90,000 miles yesterday (yes it is 90,000, and not 190,000 miles.)
