1977 Monza Mirage, very rare oppertunity to get a 1 of 4000+ made. If you are not sure what a mirage is, look it up on the internet. It was ordered white with the thornburg red interior, 305 V8, auto transmission. Fender panels were put on by Michigan Auto technics, special mirage red and blue striping was added, each car included a number plaque that was added to the dash. The one we have before you today was purchased from Thorobred out of Wichita Kansas, made it to Garden City, Kansas and was Dr owned for most of its life. Car was driven, and then purchased by another gentleman whos daughter drove it for a couple of years. While the Dr owned it, the car was broken into, and the stereo was stolen, when that happened, the broke the original console and the number plaque. So that piece is missing, and we do not know what number it is. The car still has the door sticker that was placed on the car from M.A.T. as shown in the pics. The original front spoiler was also damaged as some point, removed and addded was a more streetable front dam. The car was repainted some time ago, but you can still see the blue on part of the car towards the windshield. We are 100% sure its an original. Car has been driven, and shows the normal wear to the interior, needs front carpet, front seats have wear, console not in the best shape. Car also has hail damage throughout. Car comes with a hood that has been prepped and is ready for paint, we forgot to take a pic of it, but no hail on the extra hood. Chrome trim has damage. Car is pretty much solid as far as rust goes, has a couple of spots showing up. Inside of passenger door shows the worst of it. 305 2 barrel carb runs well. New fuel pump was just put in the fuel tank. New exhaust less than 500 miles ago.Have a new battery for it and will have it put in . Car does not smoke and was told a quart every oil change was all she used. Car has 111977 miles on it. Some cracking on the rear spoiler, and a few spots on the side panels. Rear carpet needs replaced and shows wear. Speakers were added to the rear panels and front panels. Car has A/C, but needs charged, and converted to R134. Car does have the original sway bars and rides nice, tires are in descent shape. Original window louvers are there and not too bad. Wheel hub caps are originals and in great shape. Winsheild is not cracked. Has the original spare tire and equipment and comes with a Chilton Book. Pick up only, we can also drive it up on to a transport trailer, but you must make arrangements. Clear title in hand. 500.00 dollar paypal deposit 48 hours after auction ends. Car must be paid in full within 7 days of auction end.
