Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevy El Camino, non SS, in incredible condition. Car was completely redone about 1000 miles ago, from the engine to the paint. Everything done correctly. NO RUST IN THIS CAR. SS hood, SS wheels. Incredible interior bench seat and door panels, original carpet in good conditon. Paint was custom grey with charcoal stripes. Chome in tip top shape all around. Bumpers are near perfect as you can find. 12 bolt with 3:73 gears running a mini spool for posi. Door handles where removed and has selonoid openers for that custom look. Bed in near perfect condition, but they should have done a better job prepping, as there are places where the paint is coming off. This is all on the inside, comes with a rubber mat for the bed. Original Miles at 85645. Has A/C but compressor was removed, but could easily be added back on, AC brackets are on the motor. Engine is a 325 hp 396 motor, the VIN on the motor is TO930IVR 6S112399, so its a late 66 out of a Impalla. Motor was completely rebuilt, .030 over, TRW forged 10.25:1, Crane fireball cam, Heads were completely rebuild, new guides, Stainless Steel Manely valves in the oval port heads, Holley 750 vaccum secondaries atop a Edelbrock Torker manifold. Accel HEI super coil with a Mallory 6AL Ignition fires her right up. Hedman Headers and exhaust out the sides. Engine runs very good and was meant to be a streetable motor and does very nicely, no engine heating problems while cruising, motor stays below 185 degrees all day. Here's the bad, Owner who rebuilt the car's X wife took something to the hood of the car, and did some damage to it. It can be fixed, you should be able to see it in the pics. The bottom of the car is very nice, no rusted fender wells or rocker panels, car was stored inside its life, (still is). Rear tires are getting thin. 3 speed TH350 with a mild shift kit works perfect. You can not build one for what you can buy this one for, it does have a couple of chips in the paint, (we drive it) but nothing major. Very nice streetable car. Clear Kansas title in hand. Pick up only, we can help load if you make arrangements to ship.
