This beautiful RUST FREE Dodge Ram 1500 with only 90K miles needs the engine either rebuilt, repaired, or replaced. It starts, runs, and drives, but there is an engine tick/knock noise. It doesn't have low oil pressure. We have not looked into it any further. PLAN on it needing engine work (Rod bearing, wrist pin) . This is one truck worth putting a little effort into. Take a look at the inside of the bed and at the $800 worth of nearly new Hankook 10 ply tires. With 90K low mileage, overall body condition, and a good engine, this is a nice, newer truck. Perfect for a re body on a rolled Cummins truck, or might be a great father/son project! Here's a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. THIS TRUCK IS A PROJECT that NEEDS some Engine work. Only 90,000 actual miles on this truck. Clean title. We purchased this at our local dealer auction exactly as shown. It will sell for whatever it brings!!!!! Bid on this truck with the understanding it needs work. The bid is starting at $500 but.... it is worth WAY more than that in just salvage parts alone. The rust free bed and tailgate are worth $600 all day long. $800 10 ply Hankooks, Rust free body panels with a great paint shine. Good low mileage differential and Transmission. Damage free cab and front clip, way above average condition. The interior is pretty good. Drivers seat and console lid are poor. I would check salvage yards. The body is in very, very, good condition with a couple of usual minor dings, chips and blemishes throughout consistent for a used vehicle of it's age and use. I can't see any rust anywhere. If you are searching for an great project, this may be it!! This D1500 will sell at the end of this auction for whatever it brings. You decide what it's worth.
