Vehicle Detail

My girlfriend and I have owned this 2008 Lotus Exige S240 since new. The title is clear and in our hands. The car has never been in an accident and no panels have ever had paint work. Any flaws are there for you to see. The car has been well maintained. Always used Mobile 1 synthetic oil. Watch a walk around video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVM9kTqrpH0 And a test drive video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr9Psnh4Kvs We ordered it directly from Lotus with the Isotope Green paint option ($4k) and limited slip differential. We had to wait four months for it to be built and shipped to the US but it was totally worth the wait. You have to see this paint in the sun to really appreciate it. Besides the beautiful bright color, it also has a pearlescent metal flake in it. We have loved this car for the past ten years. It's been a real joy. Always fun to drive. Always draws lots of attention. Very much feels like you are driving a go cart on the street! It sounds good (especially that supercharger whine), it's light, it's quick and it handles the curves like nothing else! One cool feature, the S240's have launch control and adjustable traction control. The traction control lets you adjust how much rear wheel slip is allowed. We are selling because we have a couple Teslas now and the Lotus never gets driven. It just sits in the garage with the trickle charger and car cover over it. I move it out of the garage and warm it up every few weeks to keep everything lubed. As far as reliability goes, we had to take it in for one recall (replacement axle nuts) and that was it. It's been a real solid car, no issues. Not long after we purchased it, we replaced the factory oil pan with a larger capacity baffled pan to eliminate any risk of oil starvation. We also added an aftermarket catback exhaust for a more sporty (but not obnoxious) sound and finally a few years ago we replaced the factory shocks with new, fully adjustable coil overs (adj. ride height and dampening). The rest of the car is stock minus small things here or there like the delrin shift knob. The factory aluminum shift knob would get brutal hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter so we swapped it out. Overall the car is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos and videos but there are some negative items worth noting. There are a number of rock chips on the front of the car (mostly on the front spoiler) as well as the rear lower quarter panels, side scoops and the front spoiler has been cracked due to parking too close to a curb a few times. The left rear wheel has minor curb rash while the other three wheels are still perfect. And embarrassingly when I was taking photos today, I noticed that the headliner glue has given up and the headliner fabric is hanging down. She's just trying to find a way to stay home! The top does come off so it will be very easy to take to an upholstery shop and have it fixed. I will do it on my dime for the buyer if they want. The car has always passed smog, is currently registered and the current registration expires mid November. Tires are good. If you have any questions, please let me know! I also have more photos that I can send. I could only upload 24 photos to ebay so I was limited on what I could show.On Oct-14-18 at 23:11:55 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI, some extra info: There is an additional recall on this car that we didn't know about. Oil line fittings on the oil coolers that can come lose. Someone asked about it on Thursday. On Friday I called the local Lotus dealer and have an appointment scheduled for Tuesday morning. They have the parts in stock and it should take just a day or two to swap out the fittings and lines and they even have oil coolers in stock in case they need to swap those out. I figured by the time the payment transaction goes through for the car, the recall will be done.
