Here's another NO RESERVE auction on a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD,Z71,Duramax,Allison,4x4. THIS TRUCK IS A PROJECT that NEEDS an Engine. We purchased this at our local dealer auction exactly as shown. It will sell for whatever it brings!!!!! Bid on this truck with the understanding it needs significant work. I think the truck is worth saving. I do not know what the mileage is on this truck , as I have no idea how to illuminate the digital dash. Therefore, it will be sold "mileage exempt". The bid is starting at $500 but.... it is worth WAY more than that in salvage parts alone. Allison transmission. Rust free body with a good title. Good differentials and T-Case. Lift kit system. Paint is decent, average condition. The body is in very good condition with a couple of usual dents and scratches. Minor dings, dents and blemishes throughout consistent for a used vehicle of it's age and mileage. Passenger side is the worst of it. Zero rust anywhere. If you are searching for an great, affordable 4x4 project, this may be it!! This Z71 will sell at the end of this auction for whatever it brings. You decide what it's worth. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This Duramax Z71 is NOT a currently a usable, drivable truck. It NEEDS AN Engine. It is being offered exactly as seen. I think It will make someone a VERY affordable, 2008 truck. Perfect for a Diesel mechanic looking for an affordable pickup. Finding an affordable 4x4, Z71, short bed, lifted, Duramax with eyeball isn't exactly easy! The tires are crap. They are round and hold air. Wheels look OK. Interior seats are nice. There are 24 pictures of this GMC which should illustrate and cover most of your cosmetic questions. Again Engine is gone. Chassis is rust free. See pictures from underside.The paint is OK and body is pretty decent. Interior showing minimal wear. There are expected minor imperfections. Dings, dents, scratches, blemishes, etc., which should be expected from a used vehicle of this age and use. Refer to Pictures. There's an aluminum Diesel fuel transfer tank in the bed and Firestone rear air bags for added weight. Lots of stuff in the bed that came off the truck, and no I haven't/ or will be, inventorying anything. Just plan on it needing a complete wrecking yard pullout engine assembly. That should cover just about anything. Whatever is left in the bed will be spare parts at that point. Grille and headlight pieces are in the back seat. They are not damaged. Dash piece for drivers end is in the truck. Dash is NOT cracked on top at all. Get your bids in early, it's going to sell with no games!
