1955 Ford F-100 Texas Truck purchased from a classic car dealer. I have owned it two years now. It was restored prior to me getting it and was told engine may be original 292 V-8 three speed on column and rebuilt prior to my purchasing it. Truck is very clean. I have spent over 4K recently getting it where it is. New interior, new seat, carpet, visors, arm rests, door panels, roof panel, interior paint, front fenders and hood recently painted, new emblems, new chrome antenna, new door and window handles, new chrome mirrors, front grill chromed, chrome bumpers, wood bed, new Coker Tires, new wheels, new hub caps, Kenwood stereo and speakers. Aftermarket AC installed before I got it (may need recharged soon). Truck is very nice and runs great. Clean underneath. I am pretty sure it is stock suspension but I have no problem driving it 55-60 mph on the highway. I do not drive it much and may have put 1000 miles on it since owning it in two years. Gauge cluster shows 1000 miles on it. It is not perfect but one of the sharpest and cleanest 55 Ford Trucks I have ever seen! I have a clear title. The only thing left to do is install inside door handles. I just got it from upholstery shop today and the clips will have to be ordered. I will get the clips coming! Just want to be up front with new buyer. This is one of the sharpest F-100 trucks you will find! On Jul-02-18 at 14:47:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Im not totally sure on engine size but engine is a flathead V-8 and may be 272 not a 292. I can send anyone interested numbers off engine. I was told by previous owner that it was rebuilt before I got it. It has ran flawlessly since I've owned it.
