2002 Volkswagen Beetle in great exterior cosmetic shape w/ no rust and 126k miles! The 2.0 liter normally aspirated engine needs the valve seals replaced ($20 part) it smokes upon start-up after sitting and clears up within 4-6 miles. It still runs and drives just fine, just a bit smokey at start-up. Newer Battery. Heat is hot! Sunroof works perfect! The interior is OK, their are some flaws: The drivers door handle is broke at the top -- the power lock controls are loose in the door on both sides, sometimes they work sometimes they don't. (see pic) the fabric on the moon-roof piece is disintegrated -- the armrest top has a broken hinge -- the AC could be colder -- passenger side window needs fixed (won't go down) -- some preset buttons don't work on the radio -- only comes with one key/key-fob It drives great, tires are decent along with nice rims, brakes are excellent......just needs some valve seals to quit puffing at startup. Please come check this VW out and take it for a test drive, you won't be disappointed for the price. No I won't take half the asking price outside of eBay, if you want it please bid on it! The exhaust still smells a little stinky after driving, it is not a ring problem as the car still has full power (valve seals are getting brittle) I prefer cash. If any other form of payment it MUST CLEAR before this Beetle leaves my driveway, so make sure that is doable on your end before you bid. Only people within the USA can bid, I will remove your bid if you reside outside the country -- I've had to many problems with people bidding from halfway around the world.
