Low Mileage 540i... Up for sale… Excellent running 2001 BMW 540i sedan that myself and friend picked up locally. He is a BMW mechanic at a local shop and we share garage space between Hopewell and Lambertville where we share a passion for BMWs. The car has a rebuilt title due to a damaged hood. We replaced the hood, windshield, and had the bumper resprayed to match and it looks great. Mechanically the car is excellent with only 124k original miles and ready for daily driver use. I have enjoyed driving it for two weeks since its completion. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it anywhere. The 4.4L V8 pulls strong and transmission shifts perfectly. All four speed sensors were replaced eliminating the ABS/Brake light, now no warning lights are illuminated (pictures were taken prior). There are no leaks, good brakes and suspension and nice tires. The body looks beautiful and interior is a 10/10. Everything works including A/C, heated seats, sport steering wheel controls, with no bad odors of tobacco or pets. We are not a collision shop piecing together wrecks. We enjoy being able to repair some of the lightly-damaged cars out of a passion for these older BMW models.
