5-Speed Sport… My friend and I picked up this neat 528i sedan from our neighbor down the road who had not been driving it since buying a new BMW. We were excited to find an original 5-speed manual with a factory sport package and this car has been kept in great shape with the original BMW window sticker and manuals in the glovebox. The mechanicals of the car are gone-through and ready for the road with no issues. The motor runs excellent, does not leak or burn any oil and has a new valve cover gasket. The 5-speed gearbox feels good and clutch grabs strong. The clutch was flushed and bled with new fluid last week. The brakes and suspension feel great, tires are like-new, and there are no warning lights illuminated. The alternator is new as of this week with a Bosch battery as well. The interior is in great shape for the miles with little to no wear and tear. A few areas of the headliner and pillars fabric is starting to loosen but does not sag down. All the options work correctly in the car and it has never been smoked in. The stereo sound good, heat is red hot including heated seats, and windows/locks/cruise operate correctly. The exterior looks great with shiny original paint, no panel dents, no signs of rust except a dime-sized paint chip that started to bubble on the trunk to the left of the license plate area. The lines are true, front lights were updated, and the Style 5 wheels look good for an original unconditioned set. There are stone chips on the nose, a few dings around the body and passenger rocker panel, and small areas of clear coat fading that come as age/mileage appropriate flaws.
