Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 2000 Audi A6 2.7t Twin-Turbo with Quattro all-wheel drive, window sticker price was almost $50,000 when new. While this car was very well taken care of through the years, it currently has some issues. Here is some history on the car: I purchased in 2013 near Columbus from a fine fellow who stated he had just bought a new BMW and needed to sell, and it drove wonderful. He stated the last owner had both turbos replaced around 150k miles. One of the front wheel bearings was replaced, the other may need replaced soon. The valve cover gaskets were replaced under warranty. The secondary coolant pump and intake gaskets were also replaced recently. Tires are at least 50%, car has factory upgraded wheels that have been re-done at one point (clear coat chipping again slightly now). The exterior paint is a maybe a 7/10, with some chips in the front and a small rust spot forming on the passenger front fender well. There is also a spot where the trim is slightly coming off on the passenger side door (please see pictures). My wife was extremely embarrassed to put a dent in the trunk lid by slowly backing into a wooden bush branch, trunk operation was not affected. One headlight looks new, the other looks faded but both function. Interior is a close 9/10, very well taken care of (side mirror adjustment knob broken off) A/C feels like it needs a recharge. Right rear brake caliper was replaced, brakes feel they could use one final bleed but stop the car fine. The car has always had a check engine light for the combination valves (emissions) which look new, and never affected the operation of the car. Now there is something else going on, as the ECS light now comes on occasionally, and the car goes into a protection mode but can still be driven. This happens 90% of the time when starting with a warm engine. I don't have VCDS cable/software to be able to look into the computer. That being said, this car has no warranty of any kind, it needs some LOVE. I urge any potential bidder to come check the car out if you can, hear it run and see it drive. Located in Tiffin Ohio. It will make it home if you're within a reasonable distance. Please only bid if you intend to actually BUY this car. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
