Up for sale is my 1924 Chevy, superior roadster. restored in the early 1970s. with around 2500 miles on it since early 70s. used in parades years ago but mostly in and out of storage.the last 25 years it was displayed in the showroom of a local Chevrolet dealer here in California until they closed about a year ago when I bought it.The car is now running and driving. fluids have been changed, new Optima red top 6 volt battery. fuel pump and carburetor rebuilt. water pump rebuilt.new plugs and plug wires. the engine block is a 1926 and the head is a 1928 and runs great but has a little intermittent ticking until it warms up and then seems to go away or if you bring the rpms up a little off idle it goes away. oil pressure is good. it seems to run cool driving or at an idle. transmission is in good condition.brakes work very well. all wiring was redone and head lights and tail light work. paint job is 45 years old and has some blemishes.Body and paint would be a 7 on a scale of 10. not perfect but still very presentable. tires have lots of tread but because of age showing some cracking on the side walls. they all hold air.speedometer works as does the oil pressure and amp. gauge (charging system is working).The convertible top and interior are in good condition.all wood is in good condition. the car has a clear California title in my name and registered non op. so no back fees. for further info call 949-429-5382 The car is being sold as is.
