I recently bought it at the beginning of this year and the only reason I am selling it is because my wife and I are expecting and it just doesn't make sense to keep it right now. Less than 76,000 Miles, less than 3,000 miles per year Comes with a car cover. This Porsche was purchased and had been kept here in the St. Louis metro area the entire time. It has have extensive work and upgrades done to it by Reid Vann here in St. Louis. Including an engine rebuild (by choice, not necessity) in 2001.I have records from the rebuild in 2001 and have all the records from what I had done to it since I purchased it. When I originally purchased it, I did not anticipate selling it this soon so I had invested quite a bit into it thinking I'd keep it, but things change. In March 2017 I had the timing belt , water pump, all fluids changed, AC compressor replaced, new exhaust and more done. Other than your standard oil change, this car is good to go for a long time. My loss is your gain. I am not just saying this, but this is an incredibly fast car and I am not looking forward to letting it go.Here is a list of all the major work, with dates and price at the time, that had been done to it. The total upgrade in 2001 alone was almost $26,000I have copies of everything that I am listing plus additional receipts.Timing Belt & Cam Drive Service & Water Pump - March 2017 - $1350Billy Boat Exhaust System - March 2017 - $1350AC Compressor & AC Service - May 2017 - $1450New Battery - July 2017 - $1953.0 Porsche Crank - 2001 - $4080(4) Carillo Race Rod - 2001 - $1034.80Porsche Piston Set - 2001 - $2073Garret Turbo Charger - 2001 - $1595Air Flow Meter Chip - 2001 - $1795Stage 3 Clutch - 2001 - $788.59New Head Set/Fuel Injectors/Intake Valve/Exhaust Valve - 2001 - $2100Timing Belt - 2001K&N Air Intake - 2001 This car is ready to go for a long time. It is not only a fast car, but it is an extremely fun car to drive. Car and Driver had previously called the Porsche 944 the best handling car. The next thing I would change on this car would be the paint. I would say it is a 7 foot paint, maybe at worst a 10 foot. There are some blemishes on the body of the paint. On the hood there is a spot where the paint was not filled in properly and there is a round blemish (see the last picture) The front and rear bumpers do have some light damage to them, but overall are not bad(seen in picture). The rear passenger quarter panel has a small dent (seen in picture) The rims also have some scuffs. The interior is in good condition. The seats do have some small wear spots at the seams. Since these are not very major repairs, they were next on my list to get completed, but I never got around to them. Obviously this is almost a 30 year old car, there will be some spots for correction, but I want to be as upfront with buyers as possible. The dash is in great condition. As with any car, I would recommend to ask as many questions as you have and encourage for you to come inspect it or have someone inspect it on your behalf. I do not want to hide anything or misrepresent this car. I have been burned before on cars and I know the feeling. Classic cars, and this Porsche 944 Turbo S especially, is something special that is meant to be enjoyed. I want to make sure that when this car is purchased the buyer is happy and is able to enjoy it as much as I did. Our youngest son has sever food allergies and 5% of the sale price will go to F.A.R.E. which is an organization that brings awareness to people about life threatening food allergies, especially in children. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will respond immediately and answer to the best of my ability. I ran out of the available pictures I could post, so please let me know if you want to see anymore and I will send them over. Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup or delivery.
