First, and foremost, this is a WORK truck that needs a little love. Mainly, the starter makes a grinding noise when starting. We have not had it looked at, but understand it may, very likely have a damaged flex plate as well. Plan and bid on it being bad and be pleasantly surprised if it's not. The check engine light is on for an oxygen sensor, bank 1, sensor 2. Again, at this price point, we are not investigating or fixing it and are selling the truck for whatever it brings. This will be a good project for someone who likes tinkering around and likes to save money. It has a good LS engine, 4L80E transmission, and a 14 bolt full floater rear axle. This is the 2500HD, which has heavier springs and a 2" taller/beefier frame. The body is rough, and you should be completely aware of that. A/C blows nice and cold! Tires are crappy. If I haven't scared you away with all of this yet, enjoy saving some money on this NO RESERVE auction! BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This 2500HD is being offered exactly as seen, and will make someone a VERY affordable work truck. Finding an affordable, good running truck isn't exactly easy! This truck runs and drives good, as mentioned before. The oil pressure stays around 40 PSI at idle, which is great! The transmission shifts through all the gears as it should without slippage. A/C Blows ice cold! The brakes stop as they should. The tires are pretty much done. There are 24 pictures of this Silverado which should illustrate and cover most of your cosmetic questions. The paint and body have ALL the damage and the usual expected imperfections. Dings, dents, scratches, blemishes, etc., which should be expected from a very well used work vehicle of this age and mileage. No noticeable oil, antifreeze or fuel leaks. There is no smoke, ticking, knocking, overheating, dripping. Excellent battery. It fires up immediately on the first try. The starter sounds like it's grinding on the flexplate. All emissions equipment looks to be in place. The seat is cloth. Very comfortable. Floor has a rubber mat. Crank up windows go up and down. A.C. ice cold. Heater works good too. Radio works. Horn doesn't blow. Get your bids in early, it's going to sell! I think it's going to make the next owner a great project truck, especially for the price. The windshield shows wear but isn't cracked.
