GMC 1938-42 GMC Wrecker, originally belonged the Triboro Coach corp of NYC. Used for towing buses. The Triboro Coach corp was the last surviving bus company in NYC before MTA took over their operation. This unit has been in storage for 30 years. We have not tried to start it, Transmission and wheels and brakes are Not set up, it will roll. This unit is very heavy. Has a 6 cyl motor to run the winch for the boom. The truck frame is in good shape, Cab is in good shape so is the bed, the storage boxes inside have rust. This is a rare and very collectable and probably the only one around. Sold as is.
