Vehicle Detail

1979 Ford Mustang Pace Car. Car was originally a turbo four cylinder, had a 302 and the SROD four speed in it when i purchased the car seven years ago. I recently upgraded the car to a later model 5.0 roller cam motor. Specs are as follows: .030 over, sealed power forged flat top pistons, clevite bearings, melling oil pump, crank is .010 under on rods & mains, Ford motorsports "B" grind cam and new roller lifters, valves and seats ground, professional products balancer, Jegs dual plane intake with edelbrock carb. BBK shorty headers, BBK H-pipe, thrush turbo mufflers with turn downs. Fresh T-5 five speed with Pro-5.0 shifter, new spec flywheel, clutch & pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, arm and pivot ball. Ford motorsports aluminum driveshaft, 8.8 rear end with 3.55 gears, aluminum radiator. Car has original wheels with a set of like new michelin TRX tires.Car is basically rust free from what I can tell, body, sun roof area, torque boxes, dog house, floor pans & frame rails have no rust. Car has been ziebarted at some time during its life and does have the plugs in the rocker and quarter areas inside the door jams. Recaro interior is clean, drivers side has some light fading in the checkered material. Dash pad is perfect, stock radio is gone, but was replaced with a two post radio so the dash is un-cut. Headliner is somewhat wavy and loose in areas. Body paint is descent, car has had touch up work done here and there over the years it appears but still looks presentable, decals are cracking as you would expect on a nearly forty year old car. Has some dings and a few scrathes but nothing two bad. Air conditioning was already removed when i bought the car, i do have what appears to be most of it. Car also has tilt wheel, i replaced the following switches: ignition, multi-function and turn signal switch. Everything works as it should. This is not a show car, its a super fun little hot rod thats a blast to drive. I have way to many vehicles and need to let one go. I have parted out multiple fox bodies over the years, i have a spare set of bumper covers and many knick knack parts that i will throw in if interested. I encourage all interested parties to look over the car so you know exactly what you are getting. US bidders only. Thanks for looking.
